{"id":1683,"date":"2015-07-19T09:18:51","date_gmt":"2015-07-19T15:18:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gear-gear.com\/blog\/?p=1683"},"modified":"2015-07-19T09:18:51","modified_gmt":"2015-07-19T15:18:51","slug":"sunday-creamy-bison-au-grain-potatoes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gear-gear.com\/blog\/sunday-creamy-bison-au-grain-potatoes\/","title":{"rendered":"Sunday Creamy Bison Au Grain Potatoes&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of our favorite weekend dishes! \u00a0We serve with a tomato and cucumber salad.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>CREAMY BISON AU GRATIN POTATOES ALA GEAR<\/p>\n<p>1 LB BISON BURGER, browned in olive oil with 2 cloves of diced garlic<\/p>\n<p>2 RUSSET POTATOES, sliced thinly<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 onion, cut into rings<\/p>\n<p>1 TBL butter<\/p>\n<p>2 TBL flour<\/p>\n<p>1 cup milk<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup grated pepper jack cheese (optional)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cook the bison burger and set aside. Grease a casserole dish. \u00a0Layer 1\/2 of potato slices in bottom of dish, top with onion slices, 1\/2 browned bison burger, salt and pepper to taste.
